"..The Conversation, a UK-based platform for academics to share opinion and commentary..."

Sadly, its Australian based.

Cultural Marxism is very popular with the Woke Folk down here..

'The Conversation' group of websites, which includes a UK site, is the academy attempting to maintain its soft-power influence, in an era when anyone can publish. Since in general it only allows articles to be posted by credentialed academics, with a few exceptions, any conversation they are having is amongst themselves.

If machines were "super-intelligent", they wouldn't be scraping from Wikipedia. We are supposed to donate to the Wikimedia Foundation so it can publish unpaid writers, and then pay for 'AI' subscriptions to have the same content served back to us. This fundamentally unsound model is the reason why the platform is controlled by obsessives and paid actors.

It is very unfortunate that this "American" generation automatically defaults to Wikipedia for political and historical "knowledge." But this is the age of (un)social media in which morons get their knowledge. Along with TikTok and other garbage "media." Is it any wonder that America is on the verge of collapse while neo-Communist Russia and bloody Red China are on the ascent?

Have you tried to counter what you consider false propaganda by writing revisions in Wikipedia? It's very easy and important to open an account and write your own perspectives and articles with other citations. But perhaps you've tried this?

Also, it merits mentioning that Zoe Daniel who was vilified during the 2025 election by much of our community was the one to instigate and see through to passing the legislation banning doxxing. She got no credit for this from our community.

I understand that this community viewed some of her positions as antisemitic and anti Zionist but it also ignored her pronounced position in support of the Jewish state of Israel and the many steps she took

including the doxxing legislation and expediting of security funds for schools and shuls.

There must be room for strong disagreement about Israel and antisemitism and its solutions within our community without vilification.
